WHO WE ARE
The HEC Women in Leadership club is a cross-sectional social and professional platform for the HEC Paris MBA. The WIL-SPIRATION team aims to enhance this platform to support the professional and personal pursuits of women in the program. We are a team of women and men taking on the challenge of promoting awareness of gender diversity issues in the academic and business world, on campus and beyond.
Amplify Our Strengths
To build a community that focuses on amplifying what we already excel at and support the areas of development where we want to continue growing. The WIL team endeavours to provide a safe space to discuss and take action on personal and professional challenges that particularly impact the female-identifying MBA population.
Build partnerships with sponsors that are invested in growing the representation of women in leadership positions, professionally and academically.
Create opportunities to talk about topics – even the difficult ones – that are relevant for women and allies through MBA and professional experience.
OUR CORE PILLARS
We support HEC women in their search for rewarding careers with curated career and professional development opportunities targeted at women.
The WIL mentorship program leverages our rich alumni network and larger networking associations to provide one-on-one coaching and experience sharing sessions to elevate the professional development of HEC women.
In-person and online events ranging from:
Interactive Workshops (i.e. Leadership & Influence, Communication Skills & Salary Negotiation)
Interclub Mixers & Networking Events
Health and Wellness Sessions
CORPORATE & EXTERNAL RELATIONS
We actively engage with corporate institutions, associations, and our communities at large, to forge meaningful and mutually beneficial relationships.
HEC MALE ALLIES PROGRAM
The goal of HEC Male Allies is to create a culture of inclusion by engaging men to understand the underlying causes of gender inequality and to empower HEC men to become gender equity champions through awareness campaigns, diversity and inclusion training, and focus sessions.
LADIES WHO LAUNCH
The Ladies Who Launch program is a collaboration between the HEC WIL and HEC Entrepreneurship clubs, with an objective to create an equitable and inclusive space for current and aspiring female founders. We aim to connect female entrepreneurs with the resources to pivot, innovate, and grow their businesses.
The HEC WIL magazine is a quarterly publication that features inspirational stories about MBA alumni and students. The digital magazine provides an interesting medium to connect students and allow them to be inspired by each other while touching on other pertinent subjects.
